Brentwood Tag Sale (featuring your's truly)

Vanessa De Vargas of Turquoise, Vanessa Kogevinas, Carrie Carr and Erin Castellino of Little Castle Productions, and Mark Castellino of Fyndes are putting on another fabulous Design Tag Sale, taking place in Brentwood. I recently came to the realization that I have accumulated a lot of extra designer and vintage home furnishings that are taking up quite a bit of space in my garage, so...I signed up to sell at the up coming tag sale! I'm so excited to be a part of it. These tag sales are always so fun and a great place to score home goods hand picked by designers, so I highly recommend you make the trek up to Brentwood and check it out.

Alaxi Outdoor Fabric

I've been searching around for outdoor fabric for a client in Dana Point. It seemed like I kept coming across the same solids and stripes until I discovered Alaxi Fabrics by Silver State Inc. They have some really fun patterns, textures, and colors. Check it out here, and I've attached some of my favorites below.

For those in the Orange County area, Alaxi Fabrics are available at:

The Gilded Mirror

I'm sick today and every time I start to try and do something productive, my mind gets all fuzzy and my eyes get sleepy. So instead, I decided I'd try posting up some of my favorite things (not that blogging isn't productive). One of my favorite mirror companies is The Gilded Mirror. They have just 9 classic designs to choose from, but every one of them has been featured in some sort of design publication or another, because they're just that good...

Clever Cabinetry

I'm starting on a remodel of a kitchen in Newport and as I was perusing through my design magazines for inspiration I came across this clever cabinetry design. It's sometimes a quandary to decide what's more important in a kitchen; cabinetry space, or windows that provide beautiful natural night. In the kitchen shown above (found in May's issue of Traditional Home) you get the best of both worlds. It's functional, classy, and beautiful all at the same time.

Cabinetry designed by architect Greg Johnson.
