San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2010

Exterior. Home designed by Albert Farr and commissioned by Elsa Guggenhime in 1929.
Located at 2450 Washington Street.

Last Tuesday Kelli and I were able to visit the San Francisco design showhouse and it was fantastic! The rooms were beautiful and I loved collecting so many great resources after seeing everything in person. There were some really great designers featured, here is what I was able to capture on camera.

I was obsessed with both of these rugs. The reddish is an antique from Nazmiyal Collection and the yellow is a contemporary rug from Tony Kitz.

{Cozy Retreat}

{Children's Playroom}

I loved this playroom and I'm not sure why I didn't take more photos in here. There was a cut out in the wall that made a really cool little cocoon room, so Kelli and I made ourselves at home...

  1. I just wanted to make a little correction about the rug in the picture on which you commented:

    "I was obsessed with both of these rugs. The reddish is an antique from Peter Pap Oriental Rugs Inc. and the yellow is a contemporary rug from Tony Kitz Oriental Rugs"

    If you are talking about the early khotan with the circles then that piece is from The Nazmiyal Collection in NY

  2. Thanks for the correction! I knew that the yellow one was from Tony Kitz, so by process of elimination in the designer's sited resources, the only other rug vendor listed was Peter Pap Oriental Rugs. Wonder why she didn't site that in her sources...
