Molly Wood Garden Design

A little while ago I was reading through a design magazine (can't remember exactly which one) and I came across a beautiful residential landscape designed by Molly Wood Garden Design. The article especially caught my attention because I live right around the corner from Molly Wood's showroom, and everytime I drive by I think about how cool their location is. It's an old house that has been turned into a workspace and showroom, and the landscape is modern and unique. The whole space is just really beautiful. I recently snooped around her website and found some really amazing landscapes. Take a look below...






In addition to beautiful landscape design, the Molly Wood showroom sells unique, new and vintage items to enhance your patio or garden. Next time I have a client ask for a landscaping reference, I think I know who to recommend!

Craft Time

I've recently had some extra time on my hands and kind of wanted to fill it with something creative, (other than interior design). While searching around online for workshops and classes in Orange County I found The Craft Kitchen. It's a little company run by Nicole Stevenson of Random Nicole <--- (fun website, check it out). The Craft Kitchen offers one day classes in a variety of crafting techniques such as jewelry & accessory making, sewing, and photography. So fun!

Blissful Furnishings

Bliss Home & Design, formerly Bliss Linens, in Corona del Mar has just launched it's own line of home furnishings and accessories. I really like Bliss' modern-antique style, so it's exciting that their head of design, Ohara Davies-Gaetano, has developed a unique line for Bliss that encompasses their beautiful aesthetic. Here is a sampling of some of their new pieces that I received in an email, I anticipate that the entire line will be available to view online shortly, here.

Modern Rugs by Laura Kirar

Laura Kirar has a hip line of hand made modern rugs at Tufenkian. All 9 rugs in the collection are pretty stellar, here are a few of my favorites... they have a little bit of an 80's vibe, which I really kind of love right now.
